4. The story behind the photo goes something like this:

Setting the scene:

It was a beautiful sunny day in New Jersey, just what everyone was hoping for because this bride and groom deserve the world. ✨

All morning the groom was sending down beautiful thoughtful gifts while the bride was getting ready. Each time on the verge of tears , keeping it together for the sake of make up. She got into her dress and I knew the anticipation was killing her. All she wanted was to see her groom. We had a special moment planned for their private vows and first touch. Before we went up I looked at the bride and gave her a moment to breathe. I asked if she needed anything and all she said was "David" - her groom. Then the real tears came , happy of course and a little nervous. You could only imagine how touching their first touch was. ❤️

BTS: nothing too fancy here, just capturing raw emotion. There was a lot of color in the background of this image so I went with black and white. I wanted the emotion to be the focus with minimal distractions.

Hers , his and together ✨

Part of my process for shooting details is to combine like items for each spouse and then co-mingle them for another picture. Details don't have to be crazy elaborate. I want to use the details that are special to you! If you don't care about your perfume , don't bother.

One bride hated her invitations so much she didn't want me to do detail shots at all! To which I said I'll find details to capture, don't you worry. She thought not having her invite would be the end all be all of the details pictures. NOT THE CASE.

Please don't do that to my heart, details are my fav 🥹
I can guarantee I can put even the simplest of items together and make them into a beautiful photo for you! It's never to small, stupid or unnecessary , promise! ✨
