I fell in love with photography after I realized the meaning of a photo being worth a thousand words. After my Dad passed away we found ourselves, as I’m sure most do after losing a loved one, looking through endless amounts of photos. Pictures all the way back to when my Dad was a kid, falling in love with my Mom and growing a family. Each picture told a whole story in itself. What they were wearing, candid emotions, their surroundings all triggered memories of what once was. Then I thought, with all the ease and access to social media, camera phones, and the internet that we almost forgot how special photos can be of our life’s sweetest moments. I can attest that those special pictures will be missed if not taken! So my inspiration stemmed from a deep desire of delivering those photos for people to cherish forever. Both the subjects and the viewers have their own perspective, adding to the story told by the picture. What a journey just one photo can take you on!

I will say, there's more to this photographer than just her inspo! If I'm not behind the camera you can find me whipping up something delicious in the kitchen, spending time with my husband, out playing with my three dogs or watching a movie with a nice big bowl of popcorn! As I tend to lean into creative outlets like drawing, baking, and designing it may not be a surprise to find that I had many of my friends and family supporting and pushing me to follow through with photography as a career. I have always had a passion for it, if you couldn't tell, but it didn't feel right until I found purpose in pursing it! Confidence helped too. Haha! My brother was crazy (trusting and supportive) enough to have me photograph his Elopement in Sedona and all the pieces started to fall together for me!
For any event or session I will be your biggest fan, hype girl, confidant, drink getter, comic relief, and most importantly, time keeper - can't wait!? Me either! I love to keep the final feel of edits timeless and true to you. I specialize in small weddings, micro weddings, and elopements! Some words that describe the ideal wedding? Hmm, let's think - definitely intimate, romantic, tight knit, warm, elegant, simple, detailed, scenic, and unique. (I'll let you in on a little secret, there are no rules!) Ditch the ballroom, keep tradition or forget it all. I love a couple that is willing to do exactly what's right for them. Regardless of what society, parents or friends want from them. I love a couple that can go for broke, all bets on THEM. I am here for it and I can't wait to capture it!
There's no telling how much a photo means to someone in the moments being captured. It's even harder to say how much they will mean to someone in the future.
