A stunning view, beautiful yard featuring paver dancer floor, bud vases, twinkling lights, a gorgeous pick up truck, personal pizzas, finished with a fire pit and smores - you better believe this wedding was the definition of backyard bliss! Meet Vickie and Travis, ladies and gentlemen!
This couple was more than deserving of a night filled with love and support from their friends and family. You could say they went through the wringer, a few times, as the tale of rescheduling. From a Greece destination wedding to their own backyard -I'll let you imagine the stress and agony behind it all. I got a call one day from Vickie asking if I would mind that the venue was changed. Mind you, we are a month away from the wedding. Of course that doesn't matter to me - magic will happen no matter where you are married! While I knew it would still be an amazing day, my heart broke for her as I was just a week away from my own wedding imagining what that would feel like. I tried to reassure her that everything will work out just as its supposed to and at the end of the day, you'll be married!
Well not only did they prove me right haha, they blew me away! It was not just a quaint backyard shindig - I'm telling you they could rent their house out for other backyard brides. The view was so beautiful. There was rain in the forecast, of course, but the whole wedding party did a fabulous job wishing the rain would stay away. Only a few drops in the beginning and the rest was just slightly overcast - perfect dancing (and photography) weather if you ask me. Keep in mind that Vickie and Travis played shy in front of the camera (couldn't tell, could you?!) but man they were no stranger to the dance floor!
Overall the couple had a beautiful night where they ate, drank and got married! Let Vickie and Travis be an example to all my brides out there struggling with schedule changes, vendor issues and overall stress - you will get married and it will be beautiful!

My husband and I got married fall of 2022. Our wedding was a small intimate party that was put together within 2 months. We tend to be a little camera shy. So it was important that we found someone who would make us feel comfortable and get us unique, kodak photos. Ash was simply amazing. She was attentive to not only myself but to my whole family. I highly recommend her because she was so professional. And she never made me feel like I was just another bride. I absolutely loved my photos! Everyone has complimented them. Even other photographers! Ash is the best! I would love to use her again for another event.
